1 Brand Guidelines and Logo Usage
The YABP logo and name signify an uncompromising dedication to clean, distraction-free utility, high reliability, and privacy.
- Logo Badge Requirement: Projects listed in the registry must display the official YABP logo badge in their repository README file, configured for 2-way verification as outlined in our Contributing Guidelines.
- Visual Integrity: You may scale the badge size to match your README typography and layout, but you must preserve the original aspect ratio and core design elements without altering brand colors or iconography.
- Accurate Representation: Listing in the directory confers status as a recognized community project. You must not claim that the YABP core maintainers created, financed, or exclusively endorse your project beyond this directory registry status.
2 Directory Curation Policies
YABP maintains a strict quality bar to ensure the directory remains trustworthy and genuinely useful for developers.
- Initial Stage & Manual Verification: YABP is currently in its initial stage. Submissions may take longer to appear in the directory because each tool is personally and manually checked, tested, and verified by our maintainers prior to inclusion.
- Curated Selection & Discretionary Removal: YABP is an intentionally curated showcase; only the best, highest-utility projects are retained. We reserve the absolute right to decline submissions or remove any listing at any time without prior notice if it becomes unmaintained, introduces visual noise or bloat, adds third-party trackers, loses its open-source license, or fails to meet our quality criteria.
- Listing Maintenance: Project maintainers are responsible for keeping repositories active, functional, and in compliance with community standards.
Because all projects are manually verified in this initial stage, listings take longer to be reviewed and approved. Once approved and merged into the registry, global CDN caches, GitHub raw file nodes, and Netlify edge builds typically synchronize within 5-10 minutes.
3 Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability
Please read these liability limitations carefully:
- Registry Provision: This showcase platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no representations or warranties regarding uptime, availability, or uninterrupted accessibility.
- Third-Party Projects: Listed directory items link directly to external repositories and live deployments. We do not audit or guarantee the code quality, runtime security, dependencies, or privacy practices of external third-party software. Users inspect and execute third-party listings at their own risk.
- Limitation of Liability: In no event shall the YABP maintainers, authors, or contributors be held liable for any claim, damages, data loss, or other liability arising from the use of listed projects, reliance on directory content, or the removal of listings.

- Respect user privacy, copyright attributions, and software licenses.
